– Morning drive 340 km. to Jimma.  It is the capital of the old province of Kefa, and is the largest town in Western Ethiopia. Overnight Hotel

– Excursion tour to Agaro to see coffee plantation. Afternoon continue visiting around Seka. Overnight Hotel

– Drive to Bebeka. Bebeka coffee plantation covers 6537 hectares, and is 30 km from Mizan Teferi. It is Ethiopia’s largest and oldest coffee plantation. The tour of coffee plantation takes about six hours.  Overnight Guest House

– Full day tour in Bebeka. Overnight Guest House

– Drive Mizan Teferi – Tepi. Tepi is also famous for its coffee plantation. The second largest in Ethiopia it stretches over 6205 hectares. The plantation head quarter can be found in the same complex as the coffee plantation. Overnight Guest House

– Drive back to Jimma for overnight Hotel

– Drive back to Addis. Overnight Hotel

– Drive South to Aleta Wondo, located in Sidama zone 340 Km from Addis Ababa. The area is well-known at international level for the finest quality coffee production.  On the way you will enjoy the Rift Valley Lakes of Lake Zway, Lake Abyata and Lake Shalla. These lakes are full of bird life. Overnight Lodge

– This day a visit to the coffee trekking route with final coffee testing. You will enjoy trekking to the colorful gardens of the coffee plantation (about 1 hour). Then you will visit the coffee processing station, including the coffee testing machine. By means of that the quality of different brands of coffee is tested. You will taste a typical local meal (called “Bursame”) followed by the famous Ethiopian coffee ceremony.

We visit the Wotton Bultume coffee cooperative, whose members are the direct beneficiaries of the project. The visitor center offers a colorful show-room of local handicrafts and interesting videos about Sidama culture and coffee plantation. Overnight Lodge
